Escape Welt creates many puzzle boxes and I have had the pleasure of reviewing their previous products. Once in a while a new puzzle is released and Escape Welt is now releasing Fort Knox Pro. The campaign for this puzzle box is now running on Kickstarter.
These wooden puzzle boxes are similar to escape rooms, but come in a more manageable size. Players must solve various puzzles in order to crack and/or decipher the “locks” of the box. If you manage to open the box, you always discover a funny surprise. The boxes each have their own theme and story and all contain different and unique puzzles. The boxes contain mostly puzzles focused on logic, language, numbers / mathematics, spatial understanding and even a little bit of dexterity. By solving one part of the puzzle at a time, you often unlock a new part. Slowly remove parts of the box until you manage to unlock the whole box. The puzzle can be solved independently, but of course you can also solve it together.
Fort Knox Pro is the more challenging version of their earlier Fort Knox puzzle. Imagine yourself in a real Western and try to crack the lock to open this vault. Fort Knox consists mainly of puzzles in which the player has to make the right combinations. After you have opened the safe you will find a surprise and you can fill the job to your own liking. For example, use the safe as a quirky piggy bank!
