EscapeWelt makes escape rooms, challenging puzzles and puzzle boxes made from (among other things) laser-cut wood. They started producing their first puzzle boxes a few years ago and by now these challenging boxes are available almost worldwide in multiple languages.
EscapeWelt makes many themed puzzle boxes and the latest addition is a detailed tower: the Quest Tower. This challenging puzzle box is inspired by the Tower of Babel and specifically how this mysterious tower is depicted in Pieter van Bruegel the Elder’s famous painting.
The Tower of Babel is said to be the origin of several languages in the world. After mankind tried to reach heaven by building a giant tower, God decided it would be better if there was some more miscommunication between different groups. Also in the Quest Tower, you would not understand the puzzles right away and will have to start “translating” the hints.
The Quest Tower is, according to EscapeWelt, their most challenging puzzle and in this they are right. We needed several hints, so for the experienced puzzler this is obviously music to your ears!
