In many well-known series and movies about visits and invasions by extraterrestrial beings, we usually follow the story from the human perspective. Think, for example, of Will Smith, who almost single-handedly manages to stop an alien invasion, Tom Cruise trying to save his family from evil creatures in a real ‘War of the Worlds,’ or Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix defeating the gray visitors with a glass of water. Often, the aliens fail to successfully abduct or conquer humanity (with the exception of The X-Files). In Get In! A Game of Alien Abduction, however, players step into the shoes of the aliens, with the goal of finally making the mission a success this time.

Imagine combining The X-Files, Independence Day, cow abductions, gray men, Area 51, Heckmeck, and Yahtzee—you get Get In!, the new game from Studio Infinitus. Get In! is an interactive card and dice game where players receive an action card each round, roll the dice, and (hopefully) take cards from the center of the table or steal them from other players. In this way, the players (aliens) collect specimens and DNA for their nefarious plans.
At the start of the game, each player is assigned an alien with a unique power. Each round, the active player draws an action card from the deck. You can use the special power at your discretion or, in the case of equipment, add it to your alien. This allows you to influence the course of the game.

Each turn, the active player rolls the dice. The value and symbols determine from which value and type of players a specimen may be taken or stolen. To steal, you must roll exactly the right value. To take, you need to roll at least a certain value. DNA tokens can be used to influence the roll.
The cards are humorously designed and contain many references and jokes aimed at alien pop culture, including the references I mentioned earlier in this review. Get In! is a fast-paced dice game that truly shines with multiple players. It combines elements from Heckmeck, Yahtzee, and Exploding Kittens, making it an accessible mix of game mechanics.
