Can you crack your opponent’s code in this code-breaking brain teaser where two hacking masterminds ask each other questions to decipher the solution? Can you crack the Digit Code?
Digit Code is a deduction game. By asking your opponent questions, you gain access to limited information. By making the right connections and asking the right combination of questions, you can crack the code—but be faster than your opponent.

Are you familiar with the game Mastermind? Then you have an idea of how to play Digit Code, but Digit Code is much more intuitive and in-depth. Both players write a code of six numbers (written in digital form) on their sheet in a grid of 2 by 3 digits (two rows of three digits each). You may not place the same numbers next to each other. The other player tries to deduce this 6-digit code.
Because the digits are written digitally in the grid, there are all kinds of rows and columns with segments. Each turn, a player may ask a question, choosing from a limited set of question types. Players can ask how many segments a row or column has, whether a number is even or odd, whether a number is greater or less than its neighboring number, or ask if a specific coordinate on the sheet contains a segment. This way, players gather information, and over time, they can connect the clues and possibly deduce the code.
Digit Code is a fun brain teaser for two players (which you can also play with a larger group using the game variant). The digital digits create an interesting and intuitive deduction puzzle.
